Baraa al Ghalayini was a TV presenter living in central Gaza at the start of the war. In this conversation, Baraa recounts personal details of displacement from central Gaza to the South during the first days of the genocide, what she refers to as her generation’s Nakba. She and her family were eventually displaced to Rafah where she used her social media presence to help raise funds for those around her. Baraa goes into detail about famine, starvation and water shortages. After 140 days of living through the war, she and her family escaped to Egypt.
